Overview

We Only Live Once is an Egyptian romantic drama that brings together two contrasting souls on a train bound for the remote coastal town of Saloum. Dr. Amal is fleeing Cairo and the painful memory of her fiancé, killed in a car accident, seeking solace in voluntary isolation. On the same train travels Hani, a reckless and irresponsible teacher exiled to Saloum as disciplinary punishment. Fate places them in the same small town, where repeated encounters slowly transform initial friction into genuine affection and love.
