Overview
The Devil is a Woman is an Egyptian thriller film that traces the downfall of Amin, an honest factory security guard who loses himself entirely when he falls for Yasmina, a worker at the textile mill he patrols. As his infatuation deepens, he neglects his duties — and soon discovers the devastating truth: Yasmina is a member of a criminal gang led by the ruthless Asim Damanhouri. When Damanhouri learns that Amin knows too much, he moves to eliminate him, but Amin fights back in self-defense and flees with Yasmina to a safe house. The reprieve is short-lived — Damanhouri survives and tracks Amin down, coercing him into the gang's drug trade. It is only then that Amin realizes the full, bitter extent of how thoroughly he was manipulated from the very beginning.
