Sageen Abu Za'abal is an Egyptian action and thriller film set against the backdrop of foreign aggression on Egypt. An innocent young man is thrown into the notorious Abu Za'abal prison, framed by a foreign drug dealer whose mistress has fallen for him. When Egyptian forces launch a raid on the prison during a period of national conflict, the young man and his friend seize the chaos as their chance to break free. What follows is an escalating series of confrontations and pursuits as the protagonist fights to clear his name and survive forces more dangerous than the prison walls themselves.
