Overview
The Stranger is a classic Egyptian drama about an orphan boy taken off the streets and raised within a prosperous family. Hajj Kamel offers the destitute child Ghareeb a home alongside his own children, but the real son Mahrez grows up harboring an unexplained hostility toward the boy. Meanwhile, the family's younger daughter Yasmine develops genuine affection for Ghareeb.
