Chwader is an Egyptian social drama centred on a magnetic gypsy dancer whose beauty makes her the object of desire for many men, yet it is Abdel Jawad — an elderly and wealthy patriarch — who she lures most decisively into her orbit. Despite his marriage and children, he falls entirely under her spell. The consequences are devastating: his wife dies of grief, while his daughter Afkar and son-in-law Diab are consumed by fury and humiliation. When Chwader falls pregnant and Abdel Jawad adds her to his will, their anger curdles into a cold determination to be rid of her permanently. The series is a layered drama of greed, jealousy, and inheritance conflict set against Egypt's social tensions.
