Overview
El Agooz Wil Baltagi is an Egyptian dramatic comedy that brings together two unlikely souls: Rabee, a desperate old man who has run out of reasons to live, and Mahrous, a street thug he encounters by chance and propositions with an unusual offer — pay him to end his life. Mahrous accepts, but as the two men spend time together, an unexpected bond forms. Mahrous begins to see in the old man a reflection of his own squandered youth, and compassion quietly overtakes the transaction. A touching, understated film about loneliness, regret, and the connections that find us when we least expect them.
