Overview

Circle of Doubt is an Egyptian thriller film built around a web of crime, jealousy, and deception. When Issam discovers his wife's affair with Ismail and kills him in a fit of rage, he is himself murdered by unknown assailants moments after leaving the police station. Wafaa, secretly a member of Ismail's criminal gang, ingratiates herself with Major Ezzat to track the investigation into Issam's murder. The plot thickens when it emerges that Ismail only fainted and is still alive, while Ezzat grows suspicious of Wafaa and begins to shadow her movements. A tightly wound Arabic crime thriller, Circle of Doubt delivers suspense and intrigue through its layered characters and unexpected twists.
