Overview
La Tazkoureeni is an Arabic drama that traces the destructive arc of unbridled ambition through the life of a young woman who seems to have everything. Married to a promising young doctor and mother to a beautiful daughter, she is nonetheless consumed by the desire for wealth and status. Seduced by a lover into divorcing her husband — who wins custody of their child — she finds herself increasingly used as a pawn, leveraged by a powerful man to gain access to a government minister. The series is a sobering portrait of how ambition, manipulation, and moral compromise intertwine in a world built on influence.
