An Egyptian actor, born in Alexandria on July 4, 1930. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the Acting Institute in 1955. He had worked as an employee - before joining the Institute - in the Ports and Lighthouses Authority in Alexandria, then he moved to a job in the Roads and Bridges Authority in Cairo so that he could be next to the Acting Institute. He also worked in the school theatre.
(Luxar) began his artistic career in 1952 with a small role in the movie (House No. 13). Among his most prominent roles is the character of the Crusader Prince (Renault de Chatillon) in the movie (Al-Nasser Saladin) in 1963 with director Youssef Chahine, while his last artistic role was in the movie (The Haunted Driver) in 1994. He died on the twelfth of May of the same year.
