Al-Hob Keda is an Egyptian romantic comedy in which Sabah finds herself trapped between a father who insists on marrying her off to a man she does not love and a real sweetheart away overseas. Desperate for a way out, she persuades her cousin to pose as her husband in front of the family until her lover returns. The cousin agrees and plays his role convincingly — until feelings he did not plan for begin to surface during their mock honeymoon at a hotel. The story unfolds in a warm, playful romantic atmosphere as the line between performance and genuine emotion blurs, making everyone, including the audience, wonder where the act ends and love begins.
