Samir Farag
Also known as: سمير فرج
Director of photography. He filmed and produced more than 150 films and artistic works with major stars and the new generation. He worked as a lecturer in cinema studies in many official and private cultural institutions, and a member of the jury for the Culture Awards for Artistic Creativity and Photography in 2000. He also served as chairman of the jury for the Ministry of Culture Awards for Artistic Creativity in Cinematic Tricks in 2002, and a member of the jury for short documentaries and feature films at the Narrative Film Festival in 2001, and participated in the jury for the Arab Narrative Film at the Cairo International Film Festival in 2007. He also worked as a lighting and photography consultant. Arab Radio and Television from 1995 until 2000, then head of the Cinema Authority from 2012 until the end of October 2014, a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Film Industry from 2013, and a professor and lecturer in a number of academies.
