Overview

The wife of (Ahmed), the pharmacist, dies in an accident, causing him a psychological crisis. He is subsequently treated in a sanatorium. After returning to work, he discovers a shortage in the amount of anesthetic that is used in the composition of one of the medicines, and he cooperates with his colleague Nadia to discover the reason. Suspicions swirl around (Shawky), who works with them, so he plots the murder of (Aziza), the actress who is staying with him in the hotel, and pins her on (Ahmed), who escapes to prove his innocence and (Nadia) helps him.
