Overview

Welad Eleih is an Egyptian thriller that plunges its protagonist Najib into a dangerous web of corruption and crime. Upon discovering that his salary is tied to carrying out illegal operations for a powerful and unscrupulous businessman, Najib makes a fateful decision: he hands over incriminating documents to the man's own secretary. The move makes him a marked man. The businessman's enforcers close in, forcing Najib to flee for his life while simultaneously trying to protect the secretary from the deadly consequences of possessing those damning files. A tense chase film about one man's conscience pitted against organized crime.
