Overview
Imtithal is an Egyptian drama following a young woman who flees the suffocating control of her stepfather and finds herself working as a dancer in a Cairo nightclub. Using her wits, she seduces the nightclub's thug and rises to become a powerful figure on Emad El-Din Street. But her secret relationship with a young man named Naji, and her pregnancy outside of wedlock, ignites a dangerous jealousy. When the thug discovers the truth, he plots a violent revenge, sending Imtithal's carefully built world into free fall. A gritty story of survival, manipulation, and consequence set against the backdrop of Cairo's nightlife.
