The Peacock is an Egyptian psychological crime drama centered on Hamdy, a man living under the same roof as his wife Nadia and her younger sister Samiha. What appears to be a conventional domestic arrangement conceals a dangerous secret: Hamdy is in love with Samiha, a forbidden desire he cannot bring himself to voice. As his feelings consume him, he begins plotting to rid himself of Nadia permanently. A dark and tense study of obsession, jealousy, and the thin line between desire and destruction.
