The Day Demon is an Egyptian thriller in which a corrupt minister orders his men to stage his mistress's husband's death as a suicide. A seasoned forensic doctor refuses to sign off on the false verdict and is abducted to silence him. His kidnapping is witnessed by chance by a determined gym teacher who refuses to look away despite the very real danger she faces by getting involved. A tense, morally charged drama about what it costs to stand between power and the truth.
