Sareq Al-Malyeen is a Lebanese thriller that opens with three thieves pulling off a bold heist at the Lebanese National Bank, making off with a million liras. When one of them breaks rank, seizing the entire sum for himself, he finds himself hunted on two fronts: by the police determined to arrest him, and by his double-crossed partners out for blood and their share of the money. On the run, he crosses paths with a beautiful woman whose presence begins to stir his conscience, prompting her to urge him toward repentance and restitution. The film delivers a tightly paced chase narrative charged with moral tension.
