He was born in Assiut into a family known for its high artistic sense. She graduated from the Higher Institute of Acting in 1934 and worked in the National Troupe, which was headed by Khalil Mutran. She married journalist Muhammad Al-Tabei, but the marriage did not last long, then she married a second time. I worked in many plays with Fatima Rushdi, such as “The Little Eagle,” “The Orphan,” “The Lady Wonder Woman,” “My Goblin,” “King Lear,” “The Defense,” and “The Women Don’t Know How to Lie.” On radio, she appeared in the role of the mother in the series “Bitter Honey.” On television, she worked in the series “Memoirs of a Husband,” “Muhammad, the Messenger of God,” and “Mouths and Rabbits.” She played the role of a strong-willed woman in most of her films, helped in this by the sharpness of her features and the strength of her voice.
