Overview
الحب المحرم (Forbidden Love) is an Egyptian drama film that unravels a deeply uncomfortable love triangle spanning two generations. Elham, a beautiful young widow, devotes herself to raising her daughter Nahid and managing the family estate after her husband's death. When Nahid moves to Alexandria for work and falls in love with the charming Adham, the relationship seems promising — until illness forces Adham to recover in the family home under Elham's care. What develops between Adham and Elham behind Nahid's back proves catastrophic: Nahid's devastating discovery triggers a tragic accident that costs her her life, leaving Adham to pursue the grieving Elham.
