Soheir Fakhry

Egyptian actress, born in Cairo in 1943. She began acting during her childhood in the film (Eternity) with director Ezz El-Din Zulfikar in 1948. She also worked during the same period in the films (My Son, Without Farewell, Bear Witness, People). Soheir moved away from the screen, then returned to the cinema after 13 years through the movie (Summer Vacation) with Zaki Rostom. After the setback of 1967 and the problem that she and her husband, Mohamed Kamel Hassan, the lawyer, faced with Field Marshal Abdel Hakim Amer’s secretary, Soheir Fakhri returned to her artistic activity in the films (The Man Who Lost His Shadow, The Ladies’ Tailor, The Choice, and Men Without Features). Suhair retired from art permanently in the early seventies.
