Nour al-Din and the Three Sailors is an Egyptian comedy-adventure film starring Othman Fattairi, a hapless man whose life has been made unbearable by a meddling mother-in-law and marital strife. In a moment of desperation, he and his two loyal assistants set sail — less to reach a destination than to escape reality. Fate, however, has other plans: the trio washes ashore on an island threatened by a villainous gang seeking to seize control. What began as a flight from domestic misery turns into a swashbuckling comic adventure as the three unlikely heroes rise to defend the island's people.
