A Lebanese actor, singer and composer, born on October 11, 1934 in the city of Tripoli, the capital of the North Governorate and the second largest city in Lebanon after Beirut. His passion for music began early, as he learned to play the oud from his father and sang national anthems and songs by major singers at his school concerts. He began his artistic career in 1954 in Beirut, then moved to Cairo in 1956 to participate in the film “The Tarubul Widow” alongside Laila Fawzi and Kamal El-Shenawy, then in the film “Haa 3” in 1961, directed by Abbas Kamel, alongside the giants of Egyptian cinema, Rushdi Abaza, Souad Hosni, and Tawfiq Al-Daqen.
