Overview
Qesset Gharam is an Egyptian romantic drama spanning from childhood innocence to adult sacrifice. Jalal and Hoda grow up together under the same roof, bound by a tender attachment, until the death of Hoda's father Esmat delivers them into the hands of the cruel Shaheen—who seizes her inheritance and subjects them both to a life of hardship. When they finally come of age and attempt to escape, Shaheen pursues them violently. Jalal is shot in the confrontation but urges Hoda to flee and save herself. A sweeping tale of love, injustice, and selfless devotion.
