An Egyptian actor, born on June 27, 1931 in the village of Nusa Al-Gheit, Aja Center, Dakahlia Governorate. His family moved to Cairo Governorate, where he completed his secondary studies and enrolled in the College of Law, but his passion for acting prompted him to leave college and join the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts.
After graduating, he joined the Egyptian Television Theater troupe, with which he performed the plays (Something in My Chest), (The Thief and the Dogs) and (A Very Stormy Night).
He presented about 72 films to the cinema, the most important of which are: (Between Kasserine) 1962, (Al Midaq Alley) 1963, (We Do Not Plant Thorns) 1970, (Song on the Passage) 1972, (The Night of Fatima’s Arrest) 1984, (The Innocent) 1986, (The Dancer and the Politician) 1990,...and others. He also participated in several television series, such as: (Cairo and the People) 1972, (Zeinab and the Throne) 1979, (Tears in Shameless Eyes) 1980, (Bakiza and Zaghloul) 1986, (The Conscience of Abla Hikmat) 1991, (Layali Al-Helmeya, Part 4) 1992.
He died on December 3, 1992 in Cairo as a result of high blood pressure and a cerebral hemorrhage
