Overview
Mughamarat Zakiyya Hanem is an Egyptian comedy series revolving around a perpetually curious housewife whose obsession with Sherlock Holmes detective novels fuels an irresistible urge to meddle in the affairs of those around her. Convinced she has a knack for solving mysteries, she throws herself into the problems of neighbours and strangers alike — almost always making things considerably worse for everyone involved, including her long-suffering husband. A warm and playful comedy that takes a beloved character type and sends her on an endless string of self-inflicted misadventures inspired by classic detective fiction.
