An Egyptian actor, born on October 12, 1910, he began his life through the theater of the late artist Naguib Al-Rihani, then he headed to cinema, working in second roles, the most famous of which was his role in the movie (Mother of the Bride) with the late Imad Hamdy and Tahia Karioka. His first film was (Si Omar), after which he topped the list of famous actors in a huge number of big films, which numbered 90 films, the most famous of which were the films (Return My Heart, 30 Days in Prison, Lady of the Palace, Ambassador Aziza, Me, Him and Her, The Millionaire, and Mother of the Bride).
His last film was (The Monster Inside a Man, Execution of a High School Student) in 1980.
Nine years later, on November 14, 1989, he passed away at the age of 79.
