Overview

A Husband On Demand is an Egyptian comedy film built around a clever marital power play. Wealthy Naeem seeks to remarry his ex-wife Nahed, but Islamic law requires her to have been married and divorced by another man first — enter Mamdouh, a mild-mannered employee willing to play the role. Nahed, however, has no intention of making things easy for Naeem: she conspires with Mamdouh to disappear and control the timing of the divorce herself. With Naeem's assets registered in Nahed's name, panic sets in, and a comedy of manipulation, leverage, and revenge unfolds in sharp, entertaining fashion.
