Tit for Tat is an Egyptian comedy film set in the competitive world of advertising. Maisaa is a sharp sales representative working for one agency, while Salah Fouad operates out of a rival firm, and both are locked in a fierce battle to land the biggest advertising campaigns. The rivalry escalates when Salah Fouad hatches an audacious scheme: he launches an advertising campaign for a non-existent product and enlists Dr. Ayoub to actually invent a substance to match the name he has already promoted. The film plays out as a fast-paced comedy of one-upmanship, with each character's manoeuvres triggering increasingly absurd consequences in a world where the line between marketing and deception is entertainingly thin.
