An American writer, born in Philadelphia, United States. He became an officer in the US Navy during World War II, and then became director of a children's theater group in Philadelphia. He then moved to New York State in 1950, after which he began writing and editing in several magazines. He was also famous for presenting a number of diverse artistic works such as the film (Rough Night in Jericho) in 1967, and the film (A Twist of Sand) in 1968, before he died in Menton, France.
