Nida Al-Hub is an Egyptian romantic drama centered on Badie, a university professor and fiction writer whose quiet life is upended when Elham, a young woman with limited mobility, begins calling him by phone to share her feelings. Convinced that the voice on the line belongs to his student Nadia — whom he believes is speaking under a false identity — Badie falls deeply in love and proposes to Nadia in person. The revelation that she loves someone else shatters his world. A melancholy and thoughtful drama about the illusions we construct from longing and the pain of confronting reality.
