Omar Nagy

An Egyptian actor and director, he spent his early childhood and youth in Upper Egypt and completed his middle school and first year at the Faculty of Medicine in Assiut. He left medicine in the second year and joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts. During his studies, he worked in the Youssef Wehbe troupe, as the hero of many of his plays, including (The Shut Up) and (Bint Al-Hawa), after which he joined the National Theater and starred in the play (Maqlib Atiyat). Then he was discovered by producer Ramses Naguib and presented him in the movie (Until the End of Life), and after that he participated in many Films and many television works, most notably (Al-Akhras, Mountain Wolves, and Octopus) His last work was the film “Teach Me Your Love” in 2005, after which he disappeared from the artistic scene completely It is the fourth and final marriage of the late artist Zubaida Tharwat. He died this morning, Monday, August 27, 2018.
