An Egyptian actress, she began her artistic career as a child through children’s programs on radio and television. She emerged as a dancer in the National Folklore Troupe, and stayed away from cinema for a while due to her traveling with the troupe outside the country.
She starred in many television series. She obtained the degree of excellent artist at the age of twenty-one, and this degree is equivalent in job title to the rank of general manager, and she was one of the first artists to obtain this title at this age.
She disappeared from the artistic scene after wearing the hijab, but she never announced her retirement from acting, then she returned in 2012 through the series 9 League of Arab States.
