Overview
College Girls is an Egyptian social drama film that follows a group of young women as they transition from the controlled environment of school into the far more open world of university life. Amira falls under the influence of a liberal social circle and becomes entangled with Adel, who feigns love to exploit her, while she overlooks the sincere affections of Essam. Meanwhile, Layla — more grounded in her values — faces a dangerous confrontation with Murad after he attempts to assault her and then seeks revenge when he fails. The film is a frank, unsentimental portrait of young women navigating desire, betrayal, and self-determination.
