
An Egyptian actress who began her artistic career in the early 1950s and played many secondary roles in Egyptian cinema. At the beginning of her life, she played the role of the Ghanaian cabaret girl and the maid, and in the 1980s she played the role of the mother and the hardworking woman. Among her films are “The Cup of Torment” in 1952, “The Story of a Girl Named Marmar” in 1972, “How Generous You Are, O Lord,” 1983, “The Return of a Citizen” in 1986, and “Fugitive from Conscription” in 1992. She can be seen in the role of Umm Fahmy (Adel Imam) in the movie “So Smoke Doesn’t Fly” in 1984.
