An Egyptian screenwriter, born in Cairo in 1941. He obtained a BA from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1966, and a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from the Faculty of Arts. He began his artistic career by writing screenplays for cinema. His most prominent films are (Girls at the University, Shame, Al-Kif, Running of Monsters, The Egg and the Stone, and Threshold of Women). He died in December 2016 at the age of 75 years.
