Overview

The Excavator is an Egyptian historical drama set against the backdrop of the Israeli occupation of Sinai prior to the War of Attrition. Israeli forces deploy a massive excavator under the cover of an oil prospecting operation, but their true intentions run far deeper and more strategically dangerous than they claim. When Egyptian authorities uncover the real purpose behind the excavation, they launch an urgent mission to prevent the machine from reaching the strategically vital Bab El-Mendab strait.
