An Egyptian representative of Circassian origins from an aristocratic family that practiced political work, as his grandfather, Muhammad Pasha Fahmy, was Chairman of the Shura Council, and his father, Mahmoud Pasha Fahmy, was Secretary of the Shura Council, and his grandmother is Amina Hanem Al-Manasterly, owner of the Manasterly Rest House. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Cinema Institute, Department of Photography, and participated as a camera assistant in the movie (The Princess of My Love, Anna) in 1974. He began his acting career by coincidence by participating in the starring role in (Where is My Mind) in the same year, then in 1976 he participated in four works (The Moon of Time, For Whom the Sun Shines, Face to Face, Where Do We Begin the Story), after which his works continued between cinema and television, the most prominent of which are (Yesterday’s Story, The Life of El Gohary, Days in the Halal).
