Overview

Hafiya Ala Jisr Al-Dahab (Barefoot on the Gold Bridge) is an Egyptian romantic drama film following Camelia, an aspiring actress who lands the lead role in a new film directed and produced by Ahmed Sameh. Just as her career and love life seem to flourish, she is pursued by Aziz, an influential and possessive man she firmly rejects. When Camelia and Ahmed decide to marry, Aziz turns menacing, threatening to have Ahmed killed. Torn between protecting her love and keeping him safe, Camelia faces an agonizing choice. A film about sacrifice, power, and the price of love in a world where ambition and danger intersect.
