Egyptian actor and theater director. He was born on May 9, 1966 in Cairo, and began his artistic career in the eighties through a number of works, such as the series (The Journey of Mr. Abu El-Ela Al-Bishri 1985), starring the great artist (Mahmoud Morsi), and (The Night of the Arrest of Bakiza and Zaghloul) in 1988. Since childhood, he actively participated in theatrical productions that were shown in the school theater in elementary school. He graduated from the College of Engineering and then studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Acting in 1990. The nineties were one of the most prosperous artistic stages in his career, as he participated in a large number of works and his roles varied greatly. In 2003, he played an important role in his career when he portrayed the role of former president (Mohamed Anwar Sadat) in the series (Imam of Preachers), which embodies the life of the late Sheikh (Mohamed Al-Shaarawi). Until 2015, Mufid Ashour participated in more than one hundred diverse artistic works.
