We the Students is an Egyptian drama film that follows three young friends — Adel, Hassanein, and Samir — each carrying burdens that reflect the pressures of Egyptian society. Adel is in love with his neighbour's daughter but faces her father's steadfast refusal and is thrown out of his own home. Hassanein is caught in the grip of a blood-feud tradition when his uncle arrives from Upper Egypt demanding revenge for his father's murder. Samir, meanwhile, struggles with the emotional fallout of his parents' divorce and their separate remarriages. Their intertwining crises build to a harrowing climax that tests the limits of friendship and leaves none of them untouched.
