The 7th Wife is an Egyptian comedy-drama starring Mohammad Fawzi as Wahid, a man with a habit of marrying women and divorcing them on the pretext that they cannot bear children. When he sets his sights on a new woman and she resists his charm, he ultimately marries her — unaware that she has secretly discovered she is his seventh wife. Rather than confront him openly, she chooses to play along, quietly holding the upper hand while he grows increasingly jealous and devoted. The film offers a sharp, witty battle of wills between a manipulative man and a woman determined to turn the tables on him.
