Stupid on Zero is an Egyptian comedy film following a naive, superstition-ridden young man whose millionaire father dies leaving him nothing — his scheming stepmother has seized the entire inheritance. Her only concession is a small dog, which she convinces him is mystically linked to his fate. When the dog goes missing one day, the young man spirals into confusion and depression, paralyzed by a belief system that has left him defenseless against the world. A comedic but pointed look at gullibility, family greed, and the absurdity of inherited superstition.
