Egyptian director. He obtained a Higher Supplementary Diploma in Commerce in 1948. He went to work in cinema at the beginning of the 1950s, and worked as an assistant director for a large number of films, the most important of which were (Pier Number 5, I am Free, and A Letter from an Unknown Woman). After that, he turned to directing, and among his most important works as a director were (Antar Carrying His Sword, The Professor Knows More, and Abu Zaid His Time). He also directed several television works, such as (Disobedience, Bad and Good, The River and the Crocodiles). He passed away on August 28, 2018, at the age of 90.
