Al-Felous wal Wuhush (Money and Monsters) is an Egyptian thriller that begins with a seemingly routine errand. Adam, an employee of the shady businessman Hammam Bek, is tasked with delivering a sealed bag to a client in Ismailia — unaware that the bag contains one million pounds and that the client never shows up. Adam returns home carrying a fortune he knows nothing about, while his employer's associate Tawfiq schemes with a dancer to seize the same money for themselves. As greed and deception converge, Adam is pulled into a dangerous web he never saw coming, in a thriller that proves the most treacherous traps are always the ones that look most ordinary.
