Overview
Paying the Price is an Egyptian social drama series that traces the long arc of consequences stemming from hesitation and misread opportunities. Imad silently suppresses his feelings for Mirfat, convinced that he does not measure up to her family's social standing. He travels abroad to pursue a doctorate, and returns to find that his brother Alaa has married her — despite the opposition of her brother Nashat.
