Overview
Karkar is an Egyptian comedy-drama film starring Mohamed Saad as Karkar, a wealthy young man who loses his grip on reality after a severe electric shock leaves him mentally impaired. Following his father's death, the vultures close in: his uncle Asim, played by Hassan Hosny, schemes to exploit his condition and seize his fortune, while his aunt, played by Raja Al-Giddawi, pursues the same goal. The two conspirators join forces to deceive Karkar and strip him of his inheritance. A crowd-pleasing popular comedy that pits greed and family treachery against innocent good nature in an entertaining battle of wits.
