Overview
Booha is an Egyptian comedy film following Booha Al-Sabah, a butcher from the countryside who travels to Cairo in search of a man named Mahrous Al-Dab', the keeper of his late father's inheritance. The big city proves far more complicated than expected: Booha is recruited by the police to help expose a merchant trading in spoiled meat, while finding unexpected romance with Kotta, the daughter of a woman called Halawiyat. Entangled in city schemes and exploited by those around him, Booha's fish-out-of-water journey delivers a warm-hearted comedy of rural innocence meeting urban cunning.
