Egyptian actress. She is the niece of the artist Tahia Karioka. She moved with her older brother (Farouk) to live with her aunt Tahia, and received her first education in the Franciscan schools in Cairo. She worked in one of the advertising companies in the translation department, and was chosen to be a fashion model after winning the title of Miss Egypt in 1958. She became the most famous Egyptian model. At the same time, she knew her way into art, so she moved between the cinema and the theater of her maternal uncle, the artist Taha Karioka. At the beginning of the 1970s, she married the football player Hassan Mukhtar and gave birth to one daughter.
