Overview
Love in August is an Egyptian romantic drama about Salwa, a young woman whose happiness is shattered on her wedding night when her husband dies in a devastating car accident. She survives physically but carries the trauma with her, unable to let go of her grief or accept the loss. The film takes a striking turn when she encounters Farid, a man who bears an uncanny resemblance to her late husband.
