Gharamiyyat Azib is an Egyptian comedy in which Salama inherits his late father's ready-to-wear clothing store along with a mountain of debt. His bachelor friend and classmate Waheed steps in to help manage the struggling shop, though Waheed's only real asset is his uncle Sultan, who lives in America and with whom Waheed keeps up a steady correspondence in hopes of securing funds to clear the store's debts. The film finds gentle, relatable humor in the everyday burdens of inheritance, male friendship, and the gap between the help you need and the help you can actually get.
